ATHLETES HORIZON PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: July 17, 2026 Athletes Horizon ("Athletes Horizon," "we," "us," or "our") is a community platform that helps people donate sports equipment, request sports equipment, volunteer, communicate about approved exchanges, and participate in community activities. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT Account Information When you create an account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, optional phone number, account identifier, profile information, and authentication information handled through our authentication provider. Donation and Request Information When you donate equipment or request equipment, we may collect the information you submit, including sport, equipment type, size, condition, description, location-related information, photos if supported, and other details needed to review or coordinate an exchange. Messages and Exchange Information When you participate in an approved match, we may store messages sent through Athletes Horizon, conversation participants, match details, completion confirmations, and information needed to coordinate the exchange. Volunteer and Community Information If you sign up to volunteer or participate in community activities, we may collect information you provide about your availability, interests, hours, participation, or related activity. Technical Information We may receive technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as device information, app version, authentication events, error information, and security-related records. 2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION We may use information to: • Create and manage user accounts. • Process equipment donations and requests. • Review, recommend, approve, and manage equipment matches. • Enable communication between approved exchange participants. • Coordinate direct fulfillment by Athletes Horizon. • Manage volunteer participation and community activities. • Send in-app notifications about requests, donations, matches, messages, and exchanges. • Provide support and respond to questions. • Protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our rules, and investigate reports. • Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app. • Comply with applicable legal obligations. 3. HOW INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared: • With another participant when necessary for an approved equipment exchange. • With authorized Athletes Horizon administrators who need access to operate and moderate the service. • With service providers that help operate the app, such as authentication, database, hosting, or infrastructure providers. • When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request. • When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Athletes Horizon, our users, or others. Users should not post sensitive personal information in public-facing fields. 4. MESSAGING AND EXCHANGES Private messaging is intended for approved equipment exchanges and related coordination. Messages may be stored so participants can communicate and so Athletes Horizon can operate, secure, and moderate the service. Do not use chat to send passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information. Users should use safe public meeting locations and follow the safety guidance provided in the app. 5. LOCATION INFORMATION Athletes Horizon may provide map links or location-related features to help users identify appropriate public meeting locations. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise and you choose to use it, Athletes Horizon does not require users to publicly share a precise live location. 6. DATA RETENTION We may retain account and activity information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect users, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information. 7. ACCOUNT DELETION Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information, subject to information we are permitted or required to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should contact us if they believe their account has been compromised. 10. YOUR CHOICES Depending on the features available in the app and applicable law, you may be able to update certain profile information, control certain notifications, request account deletion, or contact us with privacy questions. 11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Athletes Horizon may rely on third-party technology providers to operate features such as authentication, databases, hosting, maps, or app distribution. Those providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. 12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes.
